My name is Mrs. Cole
For over 40 years, I’ve been unlocking the door to learning—especially for younger students who need that extra support to flourish academically. I specialize in students who are struggling with core competencies, using proven methods to help each child discover their unique learning style.
I provide instruction that builds skills and confidence. I often focus on reading as this is the foundation for every other subject and the ability to read well feeds a child’s self-esteem. When a student masters reading, they gain the tools to succeed across all areas of learning.
While I provide support to students of all elementary ages in various subjects, my heart lies in those early, academically formative years where we can make the biggest difference. I offer both in-person sessions here in Georgetown and surrounding Scott County, Kentucky areas, as well as online support for families who need that flexibility.
What sets my approach apart is my ability to identify how each student learns best, then come alongside them—and you as parents—to guide, encourage, and provide the specific tools they need to reach their educational potential. The first step in our tutoring journey is defining clear learning goals—together. As parents, you know your child best, and I’m here as your educational partner to create a plan that truly fits.
To get started, request a free consultation. This helps me understand your child’s needs before we meet. Next, we’ll schedule a meeting—online or in person—to discuss expectations, challenges, and goals. This conversation ensures that we’re all aligned on what success looks like.
By setting clear objectives from the start, we create a strong foundation for learning. Your involvement in this process helps shape a tutoring experience that’s personalized, effective, and geared toward your child’s growth.

With clear goals in place, we’ll map out a personalized tutoring plan designed for your child’s success.
Once we’ve defined your child’s learning goals, I take the time to carefully craft a personalized tutoring plan. I consider your child’s unique learning style, strengths, and challenges—and may also seek insights from teachers or past educators to ensure a well-rounded approach.
From this, I’ll provide a tailored roadmap for our tutoring sessions. Based on experience, I’ve found that two 50-minute sessions per week lead to strong progress. However, I offer flexible options—25- or 50-minute sessions, available in blocks of 10 or 20—to fit your schedule and learning needs. Sessions start at $40 per hour.
By designing a plan that aligns with your child’s individual pace, we can maximize learning, build confidence, and ensure steady academic growth. I’ll keep you informed every step of the way, making this a truly collaborative journey.
